What is the battery life of a Locky smart lock?+
The smart locks typically last 8-12 months on a single charge of internal batteries, or standard AA batteries (Based on the specific model). The app will send you low-battery alerts well in advance. Should the battery die completely, you can always use the backup physical key.
Is the smart lock compatible with my existing door?+

What happens if my phone dies or the Wi-Fi is down?+

Setting up your new smart lock is simple. Follow these steps to get started.

Check Compatibility
Make sure the door thickness is compatible with the mortise.

Install the Deadbolt
Place the new deadbolt into the door and secure it with the provided screws.

Attach Exterior Keypad
Route the cable underneath the deadbolt and place the exterior assembly.

Connect the cables
Connect the mortise and assembly cables.

Mount Interior Assembly
Secure the interior mounting plate and assembly.

Insert Batteries
Install the required batteries and slide on the battery cover.

Troubleshooting
The fingerprint scanner isn't working.+
Ensure the scanner surface is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint in the app, making sure to capture different angles of your finger.
I can't connect the lock to the app.+
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are within range of the lock. Try restarting the app and removing/re-inserting one of the lock's batteries to reset its connection. Confirm that the Wi-Fi Bridge (outlet adapter) is plugged in and powered.
The deadbolt is jamming.+
This is often due to misalignment. Check that the bolt hole in your door frame is deep enough and correctly aligned with the deadbolt. You may need to slightly adjust the strike plate.
